ODBD Anniversary Customer Linky Party!

Hello friends!

This week we are celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Our Daily Bread designs!  To help us celebrate, we invited any customers who wanted to play along to join a linky party today beginning at 2pm EDT!  So I wanted to join in the celebration... and I made a special cake for the occasion! :)

I decided to ink up this newly released stamp by ODBD, Cake Single . I stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Copics. I added stickles to parts of the icing and Glossy Accents to the strawberry. The dp is BG Nook & Pantry. I used an MS punch, SB classic circles and Lacey Circles, some seam binding and a McGill tag punch to add the sentiment from Be Joyful .

Below are the links of several fans and customers that have created cards or projects using stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs.

These links will also be posted on the Our Daily Bread Designs blog as well.

,To make the linky party even more fun, Kelley is offering one random participant/ hopper a $15 gift certificate toward stamps!!!

  • The party will run from 2pm EDT March 10 until 2pm EDT March 11
  • Winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog March 12 at 7 am EDT
  • There will be one prize including a $15.00 Gift Certificate toward stamps which must be claimed within two weeks!!

Sweets for the Sweet!

Hello friends!  Hope you are all doing well!

Today I have a very "different" look than my usual.... but I wanted to share a card I made using the sketch over at the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge.  I also wanted to use this month's release, Cupcake Single stamp.  I colored it up to match some of the cupcakes on my designer paper, which also is much bolder and brighter than I usually use, but it is fun.  The paper has shine and sparkle to it in real life and I colored the image with Copics and then glittered the icing and added Glossy Accents to the sprinkles so there is quite a bit of dimension.

The design paper is SEI Happy Day and I matted with dark brown card stock.  I used a Spellbinders Cacey Circle in brown and a Lotus Blossom Pendant in white. (I haven't used that one is ages so it was fun to play with it again!)  I used just the word "Sweet" from the Baking Tag Sentiments that was also released this month at ODBD.

I am also playing in the following challenges:
City Crafter Challenge - Shades of Pink (and a green- see website), Creative Card Crew -  Ribbon, Loves Rubber Stamps - Anything Goes, Party Time Tuesdays -  Die Cuts, Sweet Stamps - Green, Through The Craft Room Door- Anything Goes, Vickie's Challenges -Anything Goes, 365 Cards - a daily challenge - Cake, Created With Love - Anything Goes, Creative Stamp Friends -  Spring Colors, Cupcake Craft -  Sparkle, Fashionista Challenge  Pink, Victorine Originals -  Anything Goes

This was super quick and easy today, but tomorrow I hope you'll be back to see a special project I have been working on, and a tutorial I did as well.  Hope to see you then!

Sending Love at Easter!

Our Daily Bread designs stamps, Happy Spring, designed by Grace Nywening
Hello friends!

I have a fun and "touchable" card to share today.... just in time for Easter!  This set is part of Our Daily Bread designs March release, and it's called Happy Spring.  I just love pussywillows!  I have such fond memories of my mom picking a bouquet of these every spring and I would just love to rub my fingers over them.  They are so soft, just like a fuzzy stuffed animal.  So I tried to recreate that touchable reel with Polar White Flower Soft.  My colors are Sage Shadow, Craft, and White.  I stamped on craft and bleached my image, colored lightly with Copics then added the Flower Soft.  My embossing folder is SU! and I used a Spellbinders Back to Basics Tag for my sentiment.  I also made a twine flower and adhered the egg that comes with the set on to it after cutting it out.  Quick and easy, but I love how it came out!

 HAPPY SPRING

I hope you liked my card today, and that spring is coming soon to where you live.  We are supposed to see wintry weather this week but I think after that, we should be rounding the corner into spring!  I am ready this year!  It's been a rough winter for us and the promise of new life comes with gratitude for sure!!!

Please don't forget that ODBD will be having it's 5th anniversary celebration this month, and especially from Mar 10 - 18!  Don't miss the blog hop beginning on Mar. 16th! These are always some of our most popular sets, so we hope we'll see you then!

Have a blessed week!

Pretty wood, but definitely  in need of a make over!  I removed the star, and added paper and bling!

Another Yummy Sneak Peek!

Hello friends!  Happy Tuesday!  I've been having some fun!  Can you tell?  I just had to give another  sneak peek at a couple of many fun sets to be released Mar 1 by Our Daily Bread designs. I used Baking Gift Tags, Baking Tag Sentiments, and a custom SB made die, Recipe Card & Tags.

Very simply, I stamped with Memento and Colorbox inks, die cut my circles and matted with scalloped circles, (2 for each pick), then I adhered the pick to one circle with strong Aleen's jewelry glue, and then glued a front and back together, clipping until dry. I thought these made cute little cupcake decor. Oh these sets have so many fun possibilities!  I can't wait for you to see the rest!!!  Hope to see you on the Hop on Mar 1, starting at the ODBD Blog!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Everybody-Art-Challenge - #225 Tag ( these are tags... but I put them on sticks!),  Through The Craft Room Door  - Always Anything Goes!, Top Tip Tuesday -  Tag You're It - Make a tag or use a tag, Cheerful Stamp Pad -  Anything But a Card, Crafty Bloggers Network - Anything Goes, Created With Love -Bright and Cheery, Incy Wincy Designs -  Anything But a Card
