Shabby 9 patch quilt for a friend

Hello everyone!  Where did this week go?  I have been so busy this week I can't believe it's almost over!  I made this card for several challenges. I have fallen in love with the Shabby Tearoom Challenge... it's just a look I love!  So I made this for this week's challenge which was to use squares, lots of them.  I made a 9 patch quilt and sewed it up.  I also made this for this week's features stamper on SCS, because this week we are honoring Pat Smethers and she is just one of the sweetest Christian woman I know.   Her love for others and  the Lord just shines through everything she says and does, and her creations are divine too!  I loosely cased her style on this card.  I also am entering this in this months Dirty Dozen theme... vintage.  I love this verse that Kathy submitted for the recent Anniversary Scripture DT set.  It is something we all need to do..... just be still and KNOW... He is God!

Here are the details:
Stamp: Our Daily Bread designs Scripture collection 3
Card Stock: Mellow Moss, Papertrey Vintage Cream
Designer Paper:  Anna Griffin, SEI Claire, The Paper Studio
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories:  Spellbinders Label 3, Nellies Multi Frame, MS Leaf punch, Sizzix Leaf die cut, SB Symbology die cut, Prima Flowers, Button from stash

Thanks for having a peek and have a blessed weekend!!!

  15. Beautiful! I love anything that reminds me of quilts. I was fortunate enough that my Great-Grandmother lived long enough that I got to really know her and was able to spend many many hours quilting with her in the summers and school breaks. Thanks for bringing that happy memory to mind this morning.
