Hello everyone! I am back from visiting family...and ready to start blogging and crafting again! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a happy new year!

Today I got to play in the sketch challenge over on SCS, and I used the color challenge from yesterday as well. This is a sneak peek at one of the new sets being released Jan. 1 by Our Daily Bread designs...Butterfly and the matching die cut. I just love how quickly these custom made dies cut! I colored this butterfly with Copics and added some ZVA Creative pearl flourshes in Midnight. The ribbon is May Arts silk. The punched panel is EK Success Lattice punch. My card base is Coredinations and the designer paper is Webster's Pages. I kept this one CAS and finished it very quickly.     Grace, everything about your card is perfection. LOVE the DP - I have got to get some. The lattice-work treatment is so clever and such a great accent. The bright blue bow along with the butterfly and cascading pearls are just lovely.

    Happy New Year! Praying that you and yours are blessed in the most incredible ways.

    This card is so full of life! I love the butterfly, the colors are just amazing. I don't know how you get those tiniest of pearls in their spaces so perfectly without going cross-eyed...but they look FABULOUS! Your use of the lattice punch looks wonderful as part of the center of the page. I don't recall seeing it ever used like that! WONDERFUL! I really love that bg paper! I wish it came in wallpaper!
