Another quick sneak peek!
Hello friends! I have another quick sneak peek for you! I played in today's sketch challenge on SCS but my camera battery was dead so I didn't get to photgraph it until late in the day! Don't ya just hate when that happens? Anyway... I wanted to post this as one more quick sneak peek at another new set coming your way tomorrow from Our Daily Bread designs. This set is called The Light of Life. It is stamped with Memento Ink, colored with Copics, the lantern itself is popped up for dimension, and there is flower soft added to the plants. The image is cut out with the ODBD Elegant Oval Frame, custom made for ODBD by Spellbinders. Isn't this a great old lantern? Perfect for guy cards, which is what I made here, using the CAS sketch for today. I embossed the panels with the CB Distressed Stripes folder and ran an ink pad over the raised parts for contrast. A few little brads, and some twine finished it off.
This is also for the following challenges:
Divas by Design - Spots or Stripes(distressed stripes ef), Penny's Paper-Crafty - anything goes, Simon Says Stamp - anything goes, Tandastamps - no DP, The Perfect Sentiment - must have sentiment on front - die cut, Creative Craft Challenges -Boys Will Be Boy-sall about masculine projects, Partytime Tuesdays - Anything Goes, Stamp-N-Doodle - Let's See Embossing Of Any Kind, Creative Mondays - Anything Goes, House of Gilli - Green, Make it Monday - always Anything Goes, The Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes, The Scrapbooking Queen- Anything goes with a little green
Hope to see you 8am tomorrow morning for the release blog hop!

ReplyDeleteFabulous work, Grace - what occurred to me is that the woodwork behind the lantern is reminiscent of a cross, which emphasizes the subtle "Light of the World" message.
