Here is my card.

FauxSilkBirdBG

I used the Faux Silk Technique that Angie did a tutorial on this week, as we continue to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of ODBD.  I had this sparkly aqua tissue paper that I have been saving for some special project, so I stamped with Stazon on my crumpled up tissue, and adhered it to my background.  It was super easy and fun.  My base is Coredinations with an aqua core so the inside of the card is aqua.  I inked up the Bird & Butterfly Label with Stazon and stamped on Gina K White. I stamped the sentiment from Flourished Verses using my Stamp-a-ma-jig,  and cut the image with the matching Spellbinder's Labels 18.  I also used a Spellbinders Lace Doily Accents for my lace trim, and finished off with May Arts ribbon and a hand made tissue carnation.  Remember making tissue flowers as a kid?  That's exactly what I did but on a very tiny scale.

From here hop to Sandee's Gorgeous Blog.

PLEASE don't miss our big Special Anniversary Release Blog Hop on Saturday (the 17th)!  The new special release is wonderful and we have lots of wonderful prizes... hope to see you then!!!
