For the Love of Tags & Custom Die: Plant Kindness

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop. If you got here from Silke, you are in the right place!   The Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop for the For the Love of ODBD Tag Sets and die! Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, go to the ODBD blog for the full link list.  One  post is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate.  So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love!  You have until Wednesday, April 11th at 6 pm EDT.  The winner will be announced April 25th at 6pm EDT!  So, get hopping and enjoy all the fabulous inspiration using The Love of ODBD Tag Sets!  Here is my creation:

Plant-Kindness-CPCL

I used Garden Tag Set as well as the matching custom Die to cut it.

The base us The Paper Co Metallic, the gray is Papertrey Smokey Shadow,  and the designer paper is BoBunny Country Garden Collection.  I created a pocket for my tag, and made the sketch to fit this week's Card Positioning Systems Challenge, and I added some Cheery Lynn dies (Fanciful Flourish and Exotic Butterfly Mini), which also qualifies it for the Think Spring Challenge going on over on their blog this week.  I added May Arts wrinkled ribbon and a Prima flower, and some little ZVA Creative roses to finish.  If you are wondering about the shadow effect of the flourishes, I simply cut one green and one gray, and then stacked them just offset a bit to created that shadow look.  The image is colored with Copics.

Now I will send you on your way..... Sabrina is next on the hop!

WOW!!!! Everything is so very awesome---but it is rather intriguing the way in which you placed, stamper, matted and colored the 'tag' ---it looks as if it is a part of the paper:) Thank you for sharing and for allowing me to glean from you--you are very special unto the Lord.:) be blessed
