July Release Blog Hop!

Hello friends!!!
Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs July Release Blog Hop!  If you got here from Angie's Awesome Blog, you are in the right place!  If not.... you might want to start at the ODBD Blog so you don't miss out on any chances to win!!!

This month's hop will run from 8am July 1 until 8pm July 2 EDT.  The winners will be announced July 3!  There will be THREE PRIZES of $20.00 Gift Certificates for stamps, and ONE GRAND PRIZE of the ENTIRE BREAD BASKET BUNDLE (The entire release!!!)!!!  Simply visit each of the links and leave a little love, and end at the ODBD Blog to tell us you completed the hop!  Easy peasy!!!

So now.... on to my card. I decided to make a Tri-shutter card (instructions HERE) because it allowed me the space to use several of the great stamps in two of the six sets being released... Surging Sea and Smooth Sailing

I was going for that "old wooden ship with  it's polished brass" look... I hope I achieved it!  I used K&Co Blue Awning design paper for the entire card, stamping the compass images directly on it,  and all the rest of the stamped sentiments and the ship  are stamped on the MME Bella Bella paper.  I added embossed panels that I sponged with distress ink and cut with a variety of dies, and added brass brads, tabs and the brass colored mirrored paper.

Here are the supplies used:
Papers: Bazzill cardstock, K&Co Blue Awning and My Mind's Eye Bella Bella designer paper, Mirrored paper
Ink: Versafine Sepia, THoltz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain, Stormy Sky
Accessories:  Spellbinders Double Ended Tags, Ribbon Tags Trio, Grommet Tags, Classic Circles Large & Small, Labels 22, 17 and 18.   Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder.  Brass Brads, Tabs, Charms,  Grossgrain Ribbon and Twine
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs Smooth Sailing and Surging Sea:

Thanks so much for stopping, and now I'll send you on to Debi's Delicious Blog

  63. Hi Grace~

This is phenomenal! As soon as I saw it I thought of the inside of an old wooden ship that Dave and I took a cruise on. It was all wood, and the brass was polished, and they chose the same color blue for their accessories. Oh, and I just love those two Psalms! They are so encouraging...so comforting. You did an amazing job fitting so many stamps on one card!
