For the Love of Family Hop!

Now... here is my card....
  
I used the Christmas Door set, stamping with Archival Ink on Watercolor paper, and water coloring with Tim Holtz Markers.  I stamped my sentiment from the same set, cut with a Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio die, then I stamped the greenery from the door stamp along the top and lower edge of the panel.  I then applied Flower Soft in Vintage Christmas to both the image and the sentiment panel.  The base is Bazzill, the dp is K&Co Christmas Cheer, and the dies used for the sentiment border are 2 of the Spellbinders Holly Accents.  The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Holly Stripes, and the die cuts in the top corners are  Provocraft.  The ribbon is from my stash, and the red pearls are from AC Moore.  I added Glossy Accents to my popped up bow on the wreath.  I also added touches of glitter, which I hope you can see in the close up below.

    Pick my jaw up off the floor Grace... WOW!!! I love, love, love the Flowersoft... I think I can smell the holly! Love all the lush layers, embossing, scallop detail and that fabulous image... Oh how you have made it leap off the page and steal my heart... Have a blessed day...

    Sweet Grace, having helped demo Flower Soft I can really appreciate the beauty of this card. You could have kept it simple but the addition of the EF in the BG and the beautiful sentiment surrounded by the holly and FS, well once again a warm heartfelt creation....just lovely.

    WOW GRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! It's WONDERFUL the way you made the whole thing POP with the flower soft!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!! AND the embossing & then the way you placed the greeting, it looks like a door plaque! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

    I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it, but as a novice to coloring, I knew I could not do it justice!! You absolutely did Grace...it is beautiful!! I would be in awe as the recipient of this card!!
