Now... on to my project details:
I created a wall hanging that would be perfect in any child's room, boy or girl. I began with a wood frame from Michael's. I lightly sanded it and then painted it with a coat of Gesso. I sanded again with fine sandpaper, and then covered it with my designer paper. I then had a blast decorating it with several ODBD stamps and dies!
Here are the materials used for this project:
ODBD Stamps:
Children's Prayer,
Precious Girl,
Precious Boy,
Gingham Background
ODBD Dies:
Custom Recipe Card & Tags
Other Dies: Spellbinders Grommet Tags, A2 Bracket Borders, Radiant REctangles, Labels 4, Memory Box Clouds die, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish Mini
Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa for images, VersaFine Sepia for sentiments
Other Accessories: May Arts silk ribbon, Bakers Twine, Copics, Pearls, Prima Flowers, Circle punch, wood frame from Michael's, sand paper, Gesso,
My next project is a Patriotic card using
Home of the Free and
Some Gave All sets.
This card is on a craft base, and us made with BoBunny Liberty designer paper and a piece of loose burlap which I fringed on the edges. I stamped the image with Memento ink, colored with Copics, and then I embossed the panel with a CB Stars embossing folder. I made the sentiment like the eagle is carrying it in it's beak by adding some twine and slitting under the beak to insert it there. Quick and easy.... and would be perfect for any cards sent to our servicemen and women, Operation Write Home, veterans thank you notes, etc.
Here's a recap of the ODBD sets used today:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
From here, you will hop to our sweet and talented
Chris!
Blessings,
