Welcome to the ODBD 10th Anniversary Special Release!

Hello everyone!  Today we are CELEBRATING!  This is Our Daily Bread Design's 10th Anniversary!  The special Anniversary sets are being released today and we are loving them!  There are also some awesome dies being released which are just perfect for the sentiments and verses in these sets!

For the card above, I used the new God Quotes 2 Anniversary set, as well as the new Fancy Circles dies.  I also used past releases:  Fancy Fritillarty, Bitty Blossoms, Fancy Foliage, Leafy Edged Borders, and Romantic Roses Paper Pad.   It's pretty straight forward and was quick to put together.  Don't you just love this sentiment?  I do!

For the card below, I again used the new God Quotes 2  and the new Fancy Circles Dies, and additionally I used Bitty Blossoms, Lovely Leaves, Fancy Foliage, Small Bow dies, and Romantic Roses Paper Pad.

Here are the NEW ANNIVERSARY RELEASE products I used today:

I thought I'd just share with you what's going on in my personal life right now.  Many of you have followed my blog for a long time, have prayed me through many things, including my cancer journey, and I have so appreciated all your love, support and prayers!!!  My husband retired last June, and we have been looking for a home in TN where we could be closer to our family.  Our daughter was so good to come help me out so much when I went through chemo treatments, surgery, etc. and we realized we were far enough away to be a burden to her if we ever needed that kind of help again.  So we found a house and purchased it a few weeks ago.  As I write, I am packing and moving things to a storage unit until we close on March 30.  Then we will be making the "big" move.   The house we bought is about half the size of our present house, so needless to say we have been going through a major purge, but it feels good to be simplifying in so many different ways! There are a ton of things we want to do to the house before we settle in too much, so we will be working on those things and then I will be unpacking my craft room supplies and hopefully getting back to doing what I love so much!  Because I don't know how long all that will take, it might be a while before I post again... but I hope you'll hang with me while we go through this process.  Because of all that's going on, I have stepped down, at least for now, from ODBD, but who knows... I may be back in that capacity when I'm able as well.   I have been with ODBD for almost 9 years now and I will really miss the "family" we have become!  Special friendships have been made, and I truly feel blessed to have been able to be with ODBD for all these years, and for that,  I thank Kelley and Rick so much!

I want to thank all of you who have meant so much to me for all this time as well!  Your notes, emails, cards, comments, and most of all prayers carried me through one of the toughest times of my life... and I felt all that prayer support daily!!!  I  will most likely continue to return to my Drs. here for the followups as only they know all the specifics of my cancer and the treatments I had.  On April 6th it will be 2 years since my surgery, and Nov. 17 will mark 2 years since chemo and radiation were all completed!  I do still have some side effects of the continued drugs I am on, but I have nothing but praise to our Lord for bringing me through all He did! He hears and answers our prayers... and He has been so faithful to me!!!  I hope you all know how much your prayers have meant!!!

Thank you for sticking with me and I hope you'll stay on the email list so we can keep in touch in the future! You can still email me by the link in my side bar and I'd love to hear from you any time!

May God richly bless each and every one of you!

I don't comment on very many post (shame on me!) but I do want you to know that I have always been in awe of your artistry in card making. So much beauty and talent in each card.
I don't envy your move but understand wanting to be close to family. It is such a blessing.
I'll keep your blog in my reading list. Hope to receive some updates now and then. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us for so many years. I know they will miss you at ODBD.

First of all, your cards are truly lovely!! I love the ODBD sentiments! What a blessing to have a craft company dedicated to spreading the Word and encouragement through stamping!
Secondly I hope everything goes well as you move and settle into your new home. It will be a blessing to be closer to your family, I am sure. I pray that things will go smoothly and you will make new friends in a new church quickly. And I pray that you and your husband stay strong in mind and body!!
God bless you!!
