This week's challenge is: A Sketch. You can find it HERE
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15
As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing three or more of our participants for the Shining the Light Award . In order to qualify for this award or join the challenge however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sunday, June 23 at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other
Now here is my take on this fun sketch....
ODBD Stamps Used: Precious Boy, Precious Girl,
ODBD Die Used: Quatrefoil Design, Elegant Ovals
Other Supplies: Spellbinders Framed Tags 1, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish mini, Basic Grey Fairy Belle dp, My Mind's Eye Be Happy dp, May Arts Silk, Pearls, Ivory card stock, Tim Holtz Distress ink (Brushed Corduroy), Memento Black Ink, Copics to color, snips of lace trim for dress, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots ef
I paper pieced the little dress, adding shading with Copic Markers so it's not just a flat image, popped it up on dimensionals, and then I added tiny snips of lace at the sleeves and neck line for texture and fun. It's hard to see, but here is a closer shot...

Grace, this is beautiful...and as I type I am listening to Sarah Sadler sing "How Deep The Father's Love For Me." How wonderful...I love this darling card! I always love paper-piecing, and you've shaded her perfectly. And I love the lovely arrangement of layers and elegant details, especially that gorgeous/luscious bow! I LOVE it, Grace!
