Honoring MariLynn with butterflies and roses

Hello everyone!  I know I've been absent in blogland this week but my Grandkids are here and I didn't have a minute to spare!  I had started this before they came and just now had a minute to finish it up, but my post will be short as we are about to go have some more fun!
I made this card to honor MariLynn for being Queen for the day #19.  I also used last week's Our Creative Corner Sketch.  I used a JOY Craft die for the embossing of the circle card.  The flowers are hand made with cream cs and spritzed with Copic R59, and then TA Glimmer Mist in Irredescent Gold.

The butterfly is from  Layers of Color Butterfly Collector Art Stamps set and I love this set.  It's colored with Copics and popped up at the top.  The embossing is sponged with TH Distress Ink in Scattered Straw. The ribbon is May Arts.

Thanks for looking today.... sorry for the short post but I'm flying out the door!

See you Aug 1 for the ODBD Blog hop!

WOW! Beautiful!
I especially like your flowers. Do you have a tutorial? And are you able to mail a card which had such a flower as part of the design?
Thank you for your reply. No hurry. Enjoy those grandkids.......

Hi Grace~

I hope you have had a wonderful time with your precious grand-children. We snuck in a short visit with 3 of ours on our return trip home.

This is amazing! I didn't realize it was really a card. I thought is was a very specially decorated plate that you had redecorated. I love that butterfly...love the glimmer, the beads on the body. I love what you have done with the body of the plate itself! Gorgeous! And, could you apply it to good china? :)

Your flowers are really breathtaking, Grace. Just amazing!
Is it possible for you to do a tutorial on how to make a round card? How you get it to stand so well...

I've missed you! Can't wait to see the new stamps tomorrow!

Remember~
