This month Kelley has introduced some really great new stamps and I really love them! Today I'm spotlighting her very first Background Stamp... it's called Brocade background. I also am spotlighting a sentiment from Peace, the second in her "Full of Grace" series, and this month's new frames, Brocade Frames. This card was made prior to the die cuts being available, but she is now carrying die cuts for these frames that will beautifully cut the outline of these gorgeous frames! So.... lots to see and since I'm last on the hop this month, I know you have already seen lots of beautiful inspiration along the way!

What a wonderfully beautiful, rich and calming effect on one card! I love the earthy colors in this card. The ribbon and the rose trim under it is just so elegant sp lovely. Beautiful! The background is really what is intriguing me! Is that moss colored paper, with copper and crystal embossing powder on it? Using the Beautiful Brocade Background stamp? Did I guess it right? The effect is so fabulous, Grace. All of the colors, and the techniques make such a calm piece, that I believe should be framed.
(Of course, have I seen a card of yours that I didn't think needed sanding?) I just love Brocade, and these sets this month...are going to get the better of me!
I continue to pray Grace that you and your family are able to find the calm that I see in this card. A bigger calm, coming from the Dear Lord. I pray that you all are leaning on the Him for comfort, and in some cases to hold each of you up, when you are too tired to get up and see people and settle things for one more moment. Go to Him. I know you know. But, you are in it. That's what friends are for sometimes, to remind us of the obvious! You are loved!

My hubby and I celebrated our 39th anniversary on August 6th. We have 2 sons, 1 D-I-L and 3 grandchildren.
